DDSS has many Subject Guides with information about the most common issues people encounter.
As always, you can get assistance with any of your data needs by emailing datahelp@gmu.edu. We typically reply within 1 business day.
Consultations
DDSS consultants are available for appointments, both in-person and virtually. The university has a subscription to Zoom which enables video chat and screen sharing.
Computer Lab
Nearly all DDSS software is available for out-of-lab use, as much of it is freely available or on the ITS Citrix Virtual Lab. See our software list and the software’s individual page for information, including download links and related software. If you need additional assistance, please contact datahelp@gmu.edu.
Access to Data
Almost all library resources, including data, are available from off campus. For subscription sources, use the links to the databases through the library website via the Subject List or the A-Z List. You will be prompted to log in in order to access the resources from off-campus. If you can’t find what you need, ask us.
